For the last three weeks two Year 1 classes have been lucky enough to have some extra coaching in their PE lessons. The AFC Bournemouth community team have been at Winton to deliver some football sessions to the children. Fitness and dribbling with the ball have been the main learning objectives through a variety of games and practices such as “Wizard Rock Tag.” The children have really enjoyed the sessions and their close control has definitely improved. The other two classes now have three weeks of football sessions with the coaches as I’m sure the stars of the future are developed!
