In Year 1 the children are set a weekly challenge to read everywhere! We read the story about the “Everywhere Bear” who goes home with children in a class and has many adventures. Our Everywhere Bear are the soft toys the children have in their own houses and each week they have to read to their favourite soft toy in a different place!
One challenge was to read in the smallest place you could find;
Another challenge was to make a den and read inside it, this looks a fabulous, cosy den!
Reading outside was the focus one week, thankfully the weather was OK and we had no soggy books!
Although one little girl read to a very famous bear indeed!
Finally this little dog looks like he is really enjoying listening to a story.
Well done Year 1 for being so enthusiastic about reading and showing that you can read an book anywhere and everywhere!
