In topic Reception have been learning about Australia and comparing it to the UK. The children are excellent at saying their topic speed words and defining them each lesson. One of the Speed Words is the Great Barrier Reef. The children have learnt lots of facts about the reef. Did you know the Great Barrier Reef is 500,000 years old?
The children have been looking at lots of pictures of all the different types of colourful coral. They have used water colours to paint the Great Barrier Reef.
