Year 4 Egyptian Artwork

As part of our Egyptian topic, Year 4 have learned about how the ancient Egyptians first learned to write and communicate with symbols. The language they used is called hieroglyphics and used a series images to represent sounds and letters. We spent time researching and then looking at images of the many gods the Egyptians worshipped before making our own Egyptian style paper (papyrus) and painting our own images onto the unusual paper.
