Yes! The children in Y2 are getting on very well within their classes. However, they’ve been bonding in a different way. Every day they have been practising their number bonds to 10 and 20 and because of this are becoming quite proficient at using them.
Children are becoming much more able and quicker at answering questions such as 14 + ? = 20 13 + ? = 20 2 + ? = 10 and even 73 + ? = 90.
The children have lots of different resources to help them with their learning which makes it not only visual and tactile, but also great fun as well.
