Busy on VE Day

Today our “Keep Winton Busy” looks a little different!  We have a video for you to watch about a surprise which is on its way to you!  Take a look at the video to find out more.

We hope these special packs from your teachers will arrive with you early next week.  Keep an eye out for them.  As today is VE day we have also made links to online activities that you can do to celebrate this special bank holiday if you want to.  75 years ago today was the official end of World War 2 and so the country is celebrating this special anniversary.  Lots of events were planned but cannot go ahead as the country is in lockdown. However we can still remember this special anniversary and commemorate it.

This video, aimed at 7-11 year olds, explains what VE day is and why we are commemorating it
