Over the past few weeks, Year 2 have been learning how to write traditional tales. Using Little Red Riding Hood, they have thought carefully about how they could innovate the story, changing key elements but using the same story structure. They then used all of this learning to come up with their very own, original traditional story. Here are some photos of the children during the planning stage.
And here is some of their fantastic finished stories. Some examples include: The Prince and the Evil Wizard, The Girl and the Mysterious Castle, The Girl and the Forbidden Path, The Soldier and the Lion, and The Princess and the Evil Witch. Great job Year 2!
