This week, Year 5 have used their understanding of electrical circuits to test whether materials in the classroom were conductive.
They found that objects made of plastic, like rulers and glue sticks did not conduct. While objects made of metal, like scissors, paper clips and sharpeners were able to conduct electricity and light the bulb.
Year 5 were excited to see the bulb light up when they had found a conductive material.
