Our Year 6 residential adventure has officially begun! After weeks of excitement and anticipation, the children arrived bright and early, ready to set off on an action-packed few days together. The coach journey was full of excitement as we made our way to PGL.
Once we arrived, the children settled into their rooms, unpacked and got ready for their first activities. There was no time to waste as we headed straight into our programme of challenges and adventures.
Our first activities gave everyone the chance to step outside their comfort zones, work as a team and encourage one another. They included activities such as: problem solving, abseiling, climbing and fencing.
It has been fantastic to see the children supporting each other already. Some activities were certainly challenging, but our Year 6s showed determination and plenty of enthusiasm!
After working up an appetite, we headed to get our dinner and sang a Happy Birthday to Alvie!
