Winton have entered a very exciting competition this year!
The Golden Flower Bulb
Only 20 schools in the UK have entered this international competition and we are excited to start our flower growing journey.
This week, Year 2 have been busy planting Dutch tulips, ready to brighten our school in spring. We can’t wait to admire the beautiful tulips—and all the hard work the children have put in.
Taking part in this competition has not only given the children a chance to develop their scientific understanding, but also offered them a meaningful opportunity to take responsibility for caring for something over time.
