Take a look at some of the fantastic Art that Year 2 have been doing over the past few weeks.
Inspired by the work of Thomas Gainsborough (portrait painter) and Juame Plensa (sculpture), the children have created their own portraits and sculptures.
For the portraits, they sketched their faces before colouring them in using wax crayons. They finished off this piece of work with a watercolour background wash.
Their sculpture work, was based on Plensa’s 20 metre tall ‘dream’ sculpture, with the children trying to replicate his work on a much smaller scale.
