This term, the children have been observing parts of a plant. They found different plants in the courtyard and recognised the different features on them. They located the stem, petal, bud, roots and leaves on the different plants. After spotting the different features on different plants they then labelled the parts of a plant with their super reading skills! Mr Keeley also showed the children some trees, the children noticed how they had different features. They found branches, trunks and even some fruit! Well done year 1!
