Our Year 6 football team showed fantastic determination (after being on a busy residential for the previous 3 days) to deliver some strong performances in the annual Bournemouth Schools tournament at The Littledown Centre. The team started with 2 wins against Elm and St. Peters and ended up finishing 2nd in their group league. A great goal by Luca was the highlight smashing the ball in from a good distance after an impressive dribble. Noah also managed to score an opportunistic shot from just over the half way line that caught the goalkeeper off guard! Later in the afternoon the teams were re-pooled and all 4 teams in the new league showed impressive teamwork and shared an even balance of wins, draws and losses. Well done to everyone involved.
