In Year One this week we have been busy looking at numbers and their values.
We matched numbers to their quantities, and even found missing numbers using a number line and a 100 square. We talked about one more and one less of a number and found numbers values out of order too.
Today we used a variety of resources to find three amounts, then order them from the greatest to the smallest. We used number lines and bead strings to help us. Next we will be learning the symbols of greater than and less than, and what to do if two numbers are equal to each other too.
