In Reception this half term we have been learning about places around the world. To start our topic we had a topic day, where we visited each classroom and learnt about life in each place.
We learnt about Kenya, England, Antarctica and Iceland, all very contrasting places. We have been looking at the weather, food, landmarks and the animals that live there. To finish our topic, we all made some great art and fact cards too.
We all came up with our own facts and wrote in full sentences with beautiful handwriting that we have been working really hard on this year. Along with the art we have made, we have displayed our work at Winton Library in the children’s section.
