This week we have been learning about Spring in Reception.
We have been talking about the weather being warmer, and the days are longer. We like wearing clothes to keep us cooler like hats and t-shirts, shorts and dresses too.
We talked about the changes to our local environment. We went for a walk around school to see what changes we can see from our last walk in Winter. We saw lots of green plants, with buds and some blossom. We have a little peek to see what Mr Keeley has been growing in his greenhouse. We said that this spring has been much warmer than others, so we need to water the flowers often because we haven’t had as much rain as we usually do. We loved looking at all the colourful flowers, let’s see what happens to the world around us as we move into summer time.
