This half term in Year 4, we have been studying the Anglo-Saxons. We all became investigative historians this week when looking at a range of primary and secondary sources from those times. The children spoke about all of the various sources that they were shown and discussed whether they were reliable or not. The children were very intrigued by the legends of King Arthur before learning that he was in fact not a real king. This was a great way for the children to learn that not all sources from history are reliable and factual through class based discussion and using their great detective skills.
