This week, our Yr 4 Athletics team went to Winton and Glenmoor to compete in the Quad Kids Athletics event against other schools in Bournemouth. The children were trying to score points for the school by: completing the 60 metres sprint in the quickest time possible (the quicker the time, the more points), throwing a howler for distance (the further they threw, the more points), running a 400m race(quicker times earned more points) and performing a standing long jump (the longer the jump, the more points).
Our team performed very well and showed great sportsmanship and support to each other. Well done to everyone involved. Results will be shown in an upcoming newsletter once they have been received from the Bournemouth Schools Association.
