A little update from School Council…
We have been hard at work again making improvements around school.
This half term we have changed the stock on the tuck shop, we have ordered new toys for lunchtime, but our biggest project yet has been voting for the new item on the play trail. Mr Tarchetti tasked the school council with finding out which play trail equipment the children of Winton would most like to play on, so after some meetings with the play trail company we took 2 options to the whole school.
We went to each class to make our vote heard. We could choose from the Duo climber, which has 4 sides, and 12 children can play on its climbing apparatus. Or the six-sided climber for 20 children to play on, which has more climbing equipment and a super web that we can get to at the top. We are busy counting the votes, so will let you all know after the Easter holidays which one has been chosen, and therefore being built in the summer holidays. We can’t wait to see what our next job will be!
