Dragon Writing

In Year 1 the children have been learning a non-chronological report about a Spotty Dragon.
They then designed their own mythical creature to write a report on. Their plans included what the creature looked like, where it lived, what it liked to eat and how it moved. The children used their knowledge of classification in science to help them design and describe their new creature.

The children then used their design to plan out the non-chronological report, focussing on describing the features of this new creature.
