The four classes in year 4 have been competing against each other this term to see who can grow the most amount of potatoes.
After a slow start all four potato sacks were growing steadily until this week when it was time to harvest and count our spuds!
Once we had cut off all of the plant we emptied the sacks into a wheelbarrow and dug around to find as many potatoes as possible.
The final results were:-
4EG – 20
4DW – 20
4LC – 26
4EW – 34
Congratulations year 4. The potatoes will be sold on the Winton Primary Produce stall on Thursday.
