Winton have won ‘The Big Swing’ golf tournament for the 4th year in a row! 10 pupils from year 4 at Winton Primary made the team which took on other schools in Bournemouth competing in 8 golf events….involving chipping and putting. The aim was to chip into designated areas or hit targets to score points. As well as some great golf shots it was Winton’s pace and organisation between plays that really gave us an edge. Great sportsmanship and encouragement made it a great afternoon of golf. Congratulations to the team and to Bourne Academy for hosting such a fantastic competition.
