The children in Year 2 have started learning how to make equal groups in maths. They quickly understood that equal means ‘the same’. They had a go at sharing amounts into different equal groups.
They found that 6 can be split into 1 equal group of 6, 2 equal groups of 3 and
3 equal groups of 2 but it cannot be split into 4 equal groups.
They then had a go at finding more equal groups.
