Children across the school all made a poppy to go on our display. This year our remembrance display was at the front entrance of school for anyone who passed by to see. In assemblies we discussed the reason we have a Remembrance Day and the symbolism of the poppy in this event. We also discussed the work of the Royal British legion and how money raised is used to support families and ex-service personnel.
