What a super start year 2 have made this year. The children have been using different Art and DT skills to create pieces inspired by different habitats.
Firstly, the children explored a rock pool. Sewing, weaving, sketching and tie dying a variety of animals including ammonites and blenny fish.
The children have also used Jo Atherton’s ideas as a starting point for some of the work they have created. Jo works with found objects she has been gathering on the UK coastline. The children have weaved a collaborative octopus which includes litter that was found on Bournemouth beach.
