The children in Reception had a fun packed day celebrating the King’s Coronation. They coloured bunting, painted union jacks, collaged the King’s head and made paper chains to decorate the school, ready for our special whole school picnic. The children enjoyed singing the special Coronation song and eating outside together.
We learnt all about what the King’s Coronation is and watched videos of Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation. Then we played some party games. Pin the tail on the corgi was a favourite!
