The children in year 1 have been thoroughly enjoying their poetry. We have been reading and enjoying poems written by Spike Milligan, Pie Corbett and Michael Rosen. A particular favourite is ‘Bendy Man’ written by Michael Rosen! After analysing the poems and talking about our likes and dislikes we then decided to write our own. Taking inspiration from Pie Corbett the children have written their own poems!
