Last week it was Year 3 and 4’s turn to compete in The Bournemouth School’s Quad Kids Athletics event held at Winton and Glenmoor Secondary School. Our team of 12 children had to compete in 4 different events: The standing long jump, a 75m sprint, a howler throw and a 400m run. Winton competed fantastically (with quite a few 1st place positions in each event) and everyone tried their very best which was needed because each child received extra points for every centimetre they threw or every tenth of a second they ran more quickly. Congratulations to everyone involved. We await the results!
