It was the turn of Reception to take part in Sports Day last week. Lots of House Points were awarded for a variety of running, jumping and throwing events. The morning started with sprint heats followed by a carousel of events such as: The Welly Wang, Dodgeball, Bean Bag Throw, The Water Relay, Football Penalties and Handball Shooting. Even the Egg and Spoon race was in there! This followed with some more competitive relay races (either long or short distance / obstacles or with hurdles) between the classes. Finally the sprint finals finished off a fantastic morning of sport. The children were all wonderful and gave their all alongside some wonderful fun and great sporting behaviour.
