Before half term Winton Primary took part in the first of three cross country events this academic year. 36 children from Year 4, 5 and 6 represented the school around the 1 mile course and there were some brilliant displays of fitness, stamina, determination and competitiveness.
There were 16 schools represented at the first event and the runners scores are added up as points for each school. After the first race the Year 5 team were in 2nd place behind St Katherines, and the Year 6 team in 2nd place behind Avonwood.
