This half term in Year 4, the children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about life in Ancient Egypt, Ancient Egyptian gods and hieroglyphics. We had great fun in creating our own hieroglyphics, amulets and canopic jars. Here’s a few pictures of what we have created.
This week, we have learned about King Tutankhamun and Howard Carter’s discovery of the King’s tomb. We created a double page informative poster about who King Tutankhamun was and why he was so famous. Did you know that he was only 9 when he became King of Egypt?
