Last term school council chose the Bournemouth Hospital Charity as the focus for our fundraising this year. Last term we raised almost £3000 for the charity and presented it to them for their Christmas campaign. The current lockdown has prevented us from raising any more money yet but some children have managed to maintain their efforts whilst at home!
Two children collected shells on the beach and then sold them form home in order to raise money. They sent the money raised to the hospital and got a lovely thank you back from the staff there. Take a look at the photos they sent in. We were delighted to hear this was the children’s idea and something they decided to do to maintain their fundraising efforts through lockdown. What a great community spirit they have shown!
