After sending our formal persuasive letters to Boris Johnson about the impact of deforestation, we received a reply from the correspondence officer on behalf of the Prime Minister to thank us for our eloquent and well-written letters. They went on to tell us about all the ways the UK support the rainforests and the people that live there. We were very excited to read the response and it is clear the government has taken on some of our suggestions. We feel very proud of ourselves and peers in Year 5.
