Today in year 5 we learnt about prime numbers. We built upon our knowledge of factors to explore what prime numbers are and how we can find out which numbers are prime.
We used our understanding of arrays to support us to hunt down the prime numbers.
The children showed an excellent knowledge of factors and prime numbers using arrays and we even had conversations about the commutativity of multiplication.
