The children in Reception have come back to school after the half term break full of beans! They are so excited to learn, which is wonderful to see.
This week they are learning about the season Autumn. To launch the learning they went on an Autumn walk around our lovely school grounds; we are so lucky to have such amazing grounds.
They wrapped up warm and headed outside in their class bubble.
They had an autumn checklist to complete, so had to have really good looking eyes. They found bare trees (see photo above), berries, brown, orange and yellow leaves to name but a few things.
Finally they returned to the Reception playground and made leaf kebabs; they had to find as many different coloured leaves as they could to put onto their kebab stick!
