In PSHE this half term, Year 3 have been discussing the fact that all families come in different shapes and sizes and that, irrespective of this, families provide love, support and stability. They have compared their own families with the families of others to discuss the similarities and differences. Then they thought carefully about the positive aspects of being a part of their own family. They shared their ideas about what they most enjoy doing with their families, as well as the ways in which love and support are demonstrated within these groups. Using these ideas as inspiration, they wrote their own acrostic poems to communicate their ideas. And what a fantastic job of this they did! Here are some of 3DP with their work, as well as some examples from the rest of the class.
