It’s been a busy week in Reception already, with all sorts of learning taking place.
We’ve been innovating our talking story about The Three Little Pigs by changing what the 3 houses were made out. We had lots of interesting ideas for new houses: marshmallows, rainbows, glass, plastic, metal, slime, paper, boulders and fabric to name just a few!

We worked together to fill in the missing parts of the story
Then we wrote some sentences about our new houses
In maths, we practised repeating patterns then we continued our learning about time by thinking about what activities we do during the day and night
We even practised our number formation too!
