It was a very warm welcome back to Year 6 last Thursday. On arrival, the students found that a couple of things had changed so time was spent going through the new routines and changes that would allow us to learn safely. Each class created their own posters to create a mini new display in their new bubble.
After we had settled, it was down to our learning. In class, we are doing the same lessons as those who are working from home which has helped to keep those strong bonds and friendships between the students.
As well as our learning in the classroom, we are taking full advantage of our time outside too. The children have come up with inventive social distancing games to play and we’re enjoying the time in the courtyard.
Of course, there is also always time for dancing!
