Lots of the Winton community enjoyed a relaxing weekend and many also celebrated Easter. However we still received some updates on different activities and learning tasks that children have been up to over the last few days. Quite a few activities were art and craft related and often had an Easter theme!
One family researched what a beetle would need to live and then made a suitable environment for beetles to enjoy! Can you see a beetle in the picture?
They also designed and then made their own board game to play – what a great way to spend some time as once you have done the hard work you also get to enjoy the game. I wonder who won?
It has been great to see so many children keeping physically active despite having to stay at home. Here are some conditioning exercises undertaken by one pupil.
However you have to have the odd treat too and making your own ice lollies is another great activity – could you have a go at this?
Finally some people have already had a go at Miss Dyke’s bookmark challenge that went live on the website this morning. They look great and should be useful. I hope everyone is managing to keep up their daily reading – it is the most important learning activity you can be doing at home!
Keep sending your learning pictures in!
