Wow, what a fantastic week we have had! It has been brilliant to see so many children’s learning and activities as well as many videos and pictures of our ‘Keep Winton Busy’ activities.
Many children enjoyed Mrs Grant’s video yesterday and we have been inundated with lots of brilliant paper chains made from children from across the school. Some children have adapted Mrs Grants design and created Easter themed paper chains and one child from Plum class even made a dinosaur paper chain! Take a look at their amazing designs in this slide show below.
A child in Year 5 has accepted Mrs Gadsby’s sign language challenge and produced a brilliant video of him sending you a message.
Can you work out what he is saying? We were very impressed – well done!
These children have been working extremely hard on their spellings today. Take a look at how they have been practising some tricky words!
Science experiments are always fun to try! You can make predictions, write down a method and check if your results are what you expected. This family have been enjoying the sun whilst experimenting with blocks of ice and looking at how ice changes when placed in cups of water and salt. What not have a go at this at home and see what you find out!
Look at this excellent PowerPoint presentation from a child in Year 6. He used brilliant IT skills to present his thoughts on what he has inherited from his family.
Check out this fantastic Easter art activity that this child in Year 1 has been up to today! She used paint and a toilet roll to make these brilliant bunny prints and used finger painting to create a picture of a flower.
This family decorated a pot from home and put notes in it for people they are missing and are going to share it with them when they next see then.
Lots of children have been enjoying helping to cook at home. Look at these two who are enjoying the sunshine and having a BBQ.
