Recently we took 10 lucky Year 2 students by minibus to St. Peters Secondary school to meet up with 8 other schools in a Multi-Skills festival. The aim of the festival was to give the children lots of opportunity to develop their sports skills through fun and enjoyable activities relating to the sport of badminton. It also gave the children a chance to meet with other children from different schools and for them to have an experience of life in a secondary school. The 10 children that attended the event from Winton were ably led by Yr 10 Sports Leaders from St. Peters who took them around 10 stations of brilliant badminton challenges. All of the children had a great time and were a credit to the school with the sportsmanship and ability that they displayed.
