Recently, Year 5 spent the morning recreating the elements of the periodic table in a variety of different media. The learning linked to our science work on solids, liquids and gases and the children were enthusiastic to guess which element linked to which letter. This was then followed by each child being assigned an element to create.
5XC chose to applique their letters, 5SK carefully drew their letters before painting them in, 5SH cross-stiched each letter whilst 5EH experimented with wax resist painting.
