We had a lovely visit to Reception recently from some firefighters, they even bought with them something very special.
They told us how they are here to keep people safe, but have to be very brave and help people who are in danger. We saw some of the equipment they carry with them on their fire engine like axes and saws to help get through things, as well as the jaws of life that help them cut metal like cars if there was an accident. We also saw how they use their hose to put out fires, they even let us have a go, it was very heavy but we loved it.
