This term, Year 3 have been fully immersed in their learning about natural disasters. As part of their ‘Extreme Earth’ topic, the children have been learning all about natural disasters and asking questions such as:
Why do natural disasters occur?
What causes different natural disasters?
Where do they happen?
What are the impacts of natural disasters?
As part of their Home Learning, some children from Year 3 have been working very hard to re-create a specific type of natural disaster: a volcanic eruption.
This week, we have recieved some of those wonderful pieces of Home Learning and experienced our own live and extremely explosive volcanic eruptions!
Take a look…
What fantastic pieces of home learning! We are looking forward to receiving more volcanoes and other natural disasters before the term is out.
