I don’t normally give Headteacher Awards to children for being miserable but I did today! I saw a Year 5 pupil who had written a poem to convey an emotion and he had chosen to make the poem depressing and to promote feelings of sadenss and despair! The vocabulary and structure of his writing was excellent and he was smiling when I presented the award! Great writing well done.
