What a fabulous end to our half term learning about buildings through time!
Year 3 invited their parents in to see what they have learnt over the last half term and to challenge them to a building competition.
The challenge was to build the tallest, free standing structure using just the materials given to each group. The results were very impressive!!
It got pretty competitive…
When refreshment was needed, the children treated their grown ups to the Stone Age Soup that they had made, which went down very well.
The height of some of the structures was just incredible…
After some tough judging the wining team were ‘The Sunbeams’ with a building that was 2.88m tall! Wow!
