As part of their ocean based artwork, Year 3 have been sewing sea creatures.
First we drew the shape of our sea creature on felt and cut them out. Then the fun began…
We learnt how to use needle threaders to thread needles (What an ingenious invention and huge time saver!!)
We learnt how to do a simplified ‘blanket stitch’ around the edge and eventually stuffed our sea creatures.
These creatures will be part of our ocean display in the Year 3 corridor.
