The children in Year 2 have settled in well and have had fun getting to know all the children in their new classes. With the focus for the first two weeks of the new school year on art the children have been able to share their skills and knowledge and have produced some super pieces of work.
The work is part of a focus to make the school look as attractive as possible and a place that all children current and new enjoy being in.
Children have been able to contribute towards the school’s appearance and their input has been very important.
Our school focus is on the environment and the ideas from the children along with their artwork are encouraged to motivate people to turn thinking into doing.
Year 2 have been focusing on the story ‘Dinosaurs and all that rubbish’. Our children certainly have some thought provoking ideas and look like being champions for the environment.
