This week, year 3 have been busy looking at the sea. Lots of children brought in fabulous finds that they found when visiting the beach over the summer and we have created our very own seascapes from shoe boxes. The picture book ‘Flotsam’ has been shared and read and we have produced some fabulous writing and charcoal sketches from looking at the characters from the book. We even had a special vist from Sayeed a sea photographer who saved a turtle from swallowing a plastic bag. He showed us lots of photos that he had taken, we couldn’t believe that he had been so close to whales and even sharks.
