Just before half term Winton had their annual whole school Fun Run. This year all year groups (even reception and Year 1) ran the longer course through Redhill forest. This was another special day for everyone at Winton as the morning started with everyone being introduced to Olympia (our new school mascot) and also to Nathan Bailey (Olympic trampolinist from Rio 2016) who did a question and answer session with the children and gave some motivational words before the big run. Also attending was Tony Bernard who Winton are indebted to for donating money (via Phil Snell) to fund Olympia and our new PE curriculum that will be going live in the next accademic year. The run itself was fantastic ranging from some really quick runs to some fabulous sportsmanship, with runners helping each other, to complete the course. Congratulations Winton!
